Zeke Peña
Zeke Peña is a Xicano storyteller and cartoonist from El Paso, TX. He makes comics and visual narratives that reclaim stories and remix history. His work is a mash-up of political cartoon, border rasquache and Hip Hop culture that addresses universal themes of identity, politics, ecology and social justice. He received a degree in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin and is self-taught in the studio. He has received awards for his book illustrations and his work is in several American and Xicano art collections.
Zeke is currently working on River Stories, an on-going series of short stories about the river, border, and people of the Paso Del Norte region. In this work, he offers up the question: What is your and your family’s relationship with the River?
Zeke’s exploration of river stories is a call for more just decisions about watersheds and all our home waters.

Ngoc Doan (Fennie) is a graphic designer and digital art student in South Seattle College. She specializes in branding, packaging, and web layout. She currently focuses on illustrations. Fennie’s inspirations come from Youtube, Netflix, Instagram, and Pinterest. She infuses her designs with culture of Viet Nam.
